Clarence, a second generation Californian, has spent most of his life in Silicon Valley. Clarence earned his college degree from the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. After college, Clarence spent eights years as a community organizer working in various parts of the country. Because of Clarence's fondness for the Bay Area, he always returned home after each assignment.
Settling downing in San Jose Clarence has always taken great pride in being an active participant in Silicon Valley. Clarence has served on several important committees and commissions notably the Berryessa Union Elementary School District’s Budget Committee and the City of San Jose’s Human Rights Commission. From 2013 to June 2016, Clarence has served a Chairperson of City of San Jose's Human Services Commission.
