About Clark

Clark Rice is one of ten real estate professionals at Red Door Real Estate. He splits his time between Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego counties.

Clark is a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer (Air Traffic Control), long-time Ventura County homeowner, husband, father, and grandpa. He is a graduate of the University of La Verne where he earned a BS in business administration. He is a member of the Ventura County Coastal Association of Realtors (VCCAR) where he has served on the Local Government Relations Committee and the Equal Opportunity/Cultural Diversity Committees.

His entry into real estate was born of a desire to "understand" what was happening behind the scenes when he was buying and selling his own home. Clark had been involved in a number of real estate transactions over the years and he never felt that he had a true picture of what was happening. He never felt that he knew what was going on let alone in control of any of it. Clark always felt he was getting the short end of the stick no matter what part he was playing in the transaction.

As it turns out, Clark enjoys the business immensely. Mostly he enjoys meeting and helping people in the complicated processes of buying and selling homes. Of particular interest to him is helping first-time home buyers, veterans, and service members realize the dream of home ownership.

Consequently, Clark's pledge to you is that he will do his best to make sure you don't feel like you are getting the short end of the stick when you do business with him. He wants you to feel like you are the one in control of your investment and that you are receiving the service you deserve.
