In 2004, I was moving to the DC/VA area for work and decided that rather than rent, I was going to buy. I was very unfamiliar with this process and Clark helped me through each step of the way. He is very up to speed on the market and the area and makes himself available whenever he is needed. I'll also note that I did not rate his negotiation skills as a 5 as at the time I was buying, there was little room for negotiation based on the market. So I didn't get to fully experience his abilities in this area. Pat

We had to do a short sale on our house. Clark made it as painless as possible and made sure everything went as smoothly as that process can be. He kept both the buyer as well as us informed. He stayed on top of the bank to insure they had everything they needed which sometimes was many times as the bank would misplace the documents. He even made sure a package for us that was delivered to us at the old address was shipped back out after we had moved. He was straightforward, honest and clear on how the process would work especially making sure we need the pitfalls and delays a short sale would cause. Sam

I cannot say enough about Clark as a real estate agent but also as a person. He is a joy to work with and he knows his job extremely well. Because of Clarks hard work and endless patience we didn't have to settle for a starter home. As first time home buyers we got everything we wanted in a price we could afford. Amazingly, we had to put in 7 offers and it took 8 months before our offer was finally accepted, and each time Clark had to redo all the paperwork, but he didn't discourage us once. I was referred by a friend who had just purchased a home before me. Clark was very professional. As I was looking in VA coming from MD, I was not familiar with the areas and he was very knowledgable. He had our condo listed and sold in less than 2 days, and negotiated a solid contract with a price higher than our asking price.
