About Collette

There are few Realtors that embody the communities they serve quite like Colette Andrews. Originally from Guyana, South America, Collette immigrated to the U.S. with her parents and siblings as a young girl and lived in Brooklyn, New York. After college in upstate NY, she returned to Brooklyn and lived in Park Slope until she moved to Maplewood fifteen years ago.

Maplewood was an excellent choice, with its wonderful neighborhood and good schools to make a home for her and her son. At the time, she worked in the financial industry with Lehman Brothers, so the commute to NYC was equally important. For seven years, she lived in Maplewood and commuted into New York City.

In 2010, Collette decided to pursue her passion and became a full-time Realtor. Her years in finance had cultivated her skills in negotiation and consulting so real estate felt like a natural evolution. Of equal importance was Collette’s love for service. She enjoys assisting people and building lasting relationships, all of which are fundamental to an exceptional real estate experience.

Over the years, her mantra has become “A Friend in Real Estate.” True friendship starts with honesty and Collette embraces this in her business.
