Corie Gosse has known Portland Real Estate her whole life. More than just being born and raised in Portland, Corie is a second-generation Portland Realtor! Her Father began in the business in 1970 and Corie’s very first job was helping behind the front desk of his Portland Real Estate office.
After receiving her BA in speech communication from Portland State University Corie worked as financial Analyst for Tektronix Corp. She moved to Oregon City when the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office hired her first husband, and it was there that they built their first house and had two girls.
Tragically, in 2000 Corie lost her husband in the line of duty. It was after this time that Corie returned to Real Estate. No longer content to sit behind a desk crunching numbers, Corie felt compelled to help families find their homes. seeking both the interaction and the sense of purpose that comes with helping others navigate one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives.
In 2006 Corie joined John L Scott and continues to sell Real Estate in the heart of Portland to this day. Working with past clients, their referrals and new folks just beginning their home buying journey. This allows her to keep her finger on the pulse of the city she loves, while maintaining a rural home life and maintaining a breadth of Real Estate knowledge from city zoning requirements to rural water rights and everything in between.
Today Corie has remarried and spends her spare time with her husband on their 60-acre Eagle Creek farm where they raise a grass-fed beef herd and maintain two rental homes. This has given her a unique and positive perspective of rural properties firsthand.
