Cindy Oakes brings over 30 years of sales and sales training experience to her role with LIV Sotheby’s International Realty. Prior to LIV Sotheby’s, Cindy worked for Steelcase (the world's largest office furniture manufacturer) building and maintaining relationships with clients who needed a partner who could truly support their global workplace strategies. Her success in marketing and sales led her to several awards and a position in Learning and Development where she trained sales leaders and mentored new hires. Cindy's extensive sales and training background has taught her a valuable lesson - always put the client first, listen to them and be their advocate.

Cindy was born and raised in Chicago. She moved to Denver to attend the University of Denver. She has a bachelor’s degree from DU in French and an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. Cindy is a polished professional: extremely ambitious, infinitely organized, brilliantly observant and totally prepared. Cindy listens, finds the things that are truly meaningful and connects in an authentic way.

Cindy is married to Terry Oakes, her business partner and a top producing LIV Sotheby's broker. They have two adult children. Daughter, Madeleine, is a Sales Representative for Momentum Group in Denver. Son, Alan, is a designer for Equinox in New York City. Cindy spends her spare time volunteering for Impact100 Denver, a women's grant-making organization that awards funds to nonprofits. She loves to travel, read and ski. Cindy is also a dedicated member of the Alliance Française where she enjoys cultivating her knowledge of the French language and culture.
