Dan McGivern

Dan is a highly skilled real estate broker specializing in multi-family and mixed-use investments in San Francisco. Dan began his real estate brokerage career at Marcus & Millichap in 2016, earning the Rising Star Award in 2018 for his early achievements. In 2023, he joined Compass Commercial, partnering with Adam Filly, San Francisco’s leading multi-family sales agent. Over his career, Dan has successfully closed in excess of $125 million in transactions. He remains actively involved in the San Francisco Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors, and the San Francisco Multiple Listings Service.

Born in San Francisco and raised in Marin County, Dan graduated with a BS in Finance from the University of Colorado. Before entering real estate, he excelled in sales leadership roles. At Crocs Inc., he led the inside sales team for Canadian wholesale distribution, earning an Outstanding Sales Performance award in 2008. Upon returning to San Francisco, he managed the global sales team for Timbuk2 Designs, overseeing sales and distribution across North America and over 20 countries worldwide.
