DANNY AKERS

Danny Akers excels at bringing Buyers and Sellers together. His strengths include being known for having a large network of friends and business associates developed over several years of sales experience in fashion retail and hospitality.

Danny has been a top-producing agent since starting his real estate career in 2019. He was Rêve Rookie of the Year in 2020 and also nominated for the New Orleans Metro Association of Realtors “Rising Star” award. He is certified both as a Historic House Specialist and a Real Estate Negotiation Expert.

Danny Akers is licensed in Louisiana and Mississippi, he specializes in New Orleans, Jefferson Parish, and the Gulf Coastal communities of Hancock and Harrison Counties.

Danny is committed to volunteering and giving back to the community. He is a New Orleans Civic Leadership Academy graduate, a program where residents take an in-depth look at City Government. Danny volunteers with Project Lazarus and also serves on the Board of Directors.

He lives with his husband in a historic home in Bayou St John with their Dachshund and Golden Retriever. When Danny isn’t helping clients with buying, selling, or leasing, he’s either enjoying the outdoors or working out.
