A Pinellas County native, David is highly active in his hometown of Tarpon Springs, FL. He has served on the Historical Preservation Board & Budget Advisory Committee for the City of Tarpon Springs. In March of 2013, David was elected to a seat on the Tarpon Springs City Commission, and re-elected unopposed for a second term in 2016-2019. He was nominated to the position of Vice-Mayor in April 2017.
