Clients with a wide array of success stories in real estate cite three main reasons for working with Dave.
1. Thirty plus years of EXPERIENCE in boom-and-bust markets have given him depth, perspective, and expertise in consulting with clients. He is a full-time career professional selling residential real estate in the West Valley of Santa Clara County.
2. His multi-faceted PROFESSIONALISM is more than just time on the job, it shows in his work ethic, skilled marketing campaigns, and honest communication.
3. Hire Dave, and you work with Dave, not an assistant. Receive one-on-one PERSONAL REPRESENTATION from the beginning to the end of each transaction; a practice that is not standard for seasoned agents in the real estate industry.
For over 30 years he has sold multi-million-dollar dream homes, “sweat equity” fixer uppers, and everything in-between, primarily in the West Valley. His resources in contractors, and designers, can stage your home to show beautifully, and his years of networking will introduce your home to the top agents in various real estate firms. Referrals for tax consultants, appraisals, rental management, home/termite inspections, etc. are also available. Home buyers receive guidance through the transaction and an honest critique of properties of interest that can only come from local experience.
Professional Philosophy:
Dave’s approach to real estate is best understood through the words of people from all walks of life, selling cottages and dream homes, who have trusted him with their real estate plans.
“Mr. Call devotes a great deal of time to you… always seemed to have your best interest in mind… did not deviate from our wishes and goals… He was professional and extremely well organized… we were impressed with his vast knowledge of not only real estate, but also of finance and construction… patient advisor and advocate… knows how to deal with people… excellent mediator during negotiations… Any question or request we had was responded to and followed up on promptly… understated style and experience… intelligent and low key… showed personal integrity… wonderfully dry sense of humor… Dave is everything a realtor should be.
Dave's real estate work combines “old school” values of honesty and hard work, with many and varied “high tech” tools for marketing and communication. He is a full-time career professional selling residential real estate for the “Best of Clients” in the Santa Clara Valley and hopes to represent you in your real estate transaction,
Personal Background:
A strong work ethic was a way of life in his early years on a sugar beet farm in central Washington State, as was cutting cots in the summer in pre-Silicon Valley days. Responsibility came with being the oldest of eight children, and later raising two beautiful daughters as a 50/50 single parent. Living in Santa Clara Co. since the 60's, he knows the communities, traffic patterns, schools, jobs, weather, and the unique lifestyle in the South Bay.
Dave is second generation in a real estate family where his mother was one of the first women in the "men's profession" of real estate. His father was the owner of the California Academy of Real Estate, a training school. During college years he worked construction jobs on military bases and sold door to door World Book Encyclopedias. His first year in real estate was at Ram Realtor where he sold the highest priced home ever sold by Ram. In following years, he was a top producer for several different real estate companies, currently at Coldwell Banker in Saratoga.
Dave has two daughters who are now beautiful and accomplished young ladies, and a recent great acquisition of a son-in-law. Spending time with them is his leisure activity of choice, be it camping, BBQ parties, or holiday get togethers. He enjoyed great trips to the back country of Kodiac, Denali, and Cordova Alaska on float expeditions fishing for salmon, and deep-sea charters for halibut. Some time ago he became an ardent addict to West Coast Swing, country, and ballroom dancing. Other activities include basketball, workouts at the gym, water skiing, bicycle touring, and recently yoga. Reading, especially nonfiction, is a pastime and with the recent re-landscaping of his yard he has gotten into gardening and plants.
