David Hebel

My name is David Hebel. I was born in Arlington Heights, Illinois, which is near Chicago, and grew up in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, which is outside of Milwaukee. Despite my Midwest roots, I have lived in Richmond since I was 14 and consider Richmond my home. I graduated from Freeman High School, and received my Bachelors Degree from the University of Richmond (go Spiders!).

Richmond is an awesome city to live in; small enough to be friendly.
I currently live in Rocketts Landing at the edge of Shockoe Bottom on the James River.

My interests include the Green Bay Packers (I’m an owner!), community service, and outreach. I believe in serving my community by working as an Assistant Precinct Chief of Elections for Henrico County, Motorist Assistance with Henrico Police, Neighborhood Assistance Officer with Richmond Police, Neighborhood Watch Coordinator for Rocketts Landing, and commissions work at my church, Grace Baptist Church in Windsor Farms.

I have lived in Lakeside, Glen Allen (Deer Springs, Hunton Estates, and CrossRidge), and now in Rocketts Landing, so I know those areas very well, but I'm also familiar with areas south of the river as well. I drive the area frequently in my volunteer service with Henrico and Richmond.
