Schlamm began his professional career in the children’s clothing business before pursuing his real interest – real estate. He began by working his way up from agent to rental manager at a small real estate firm. Today David is focused on increasing market share and constant expansion, having built one of the fastest-growing real estate firms in New York City. His unique business model has attracted many of New York’s top entrepreneurial agents and the firm continues on a track of high growth and innovation.
Beginning as a one-person operation in a Greenwich Village basement-level apartment, Schlamm has since turned City Connections Realty into a full-scale operation with over 80 brokers on its team. They currently broker over 300 exclusive and co-exclusive buildings with a powerful high-growth sales division who work with both commercial and residential properties. Schlamm’s unique business model is currently changing the face of real estate in New York City.
Schlamm’s work has led him to be recognized as a “hands-on” on leader who is involved in every aspect of the firm’s business. He personally has handles some of City Connection’s most high profile transactions, such as the marketing and sale of 220 Park Ave South. David is also recognized in the real estate industry as the ultimate “landlord’s broker” due to his extensive and exclusive representation of many different owner’s portfolios during the past 20 years.
A long-time Manhattan resident, Schlamm now lives in northern New Jersey with his wife, Jill and daughters, Emma and Maggie.
