David W. Smith

David's keen sense of service and strong work ethic was developed while growing up on his family's 5th generation dairy farm in Pennsylvania. Although he left the farm for California many years ago, the rhythm set by early morning chores and the practice of helping out neighbors has never left him.

David’s 23 year experience in real estate includes a background in property management that helped shape his expertise. Working at Fuller Seminary for numerous years, he handled administrative tasks for 44 apartment complexes with up to 750 leaseholders, and negotiated contracts in the nonprofit higher education sector. David also participated in the design, development, and building phases of a four building, 179 unit complex.

Recently David joined The Kathy Gibson Group at CØMPASS. The Gibson and Smith families have been friends for over a decade, and they believe the African proverb which says “if you want to go far, go together,” which led Kathy and David to join talents.
