With the value of real estate rising to new heights, Derek Betyar sees a new face for REALTORS®. Derek has been a licensed REALTORS® since 2004, with over one hundred seller and buyer transactions.

Since 1997, he has been an active member of the Betyar Real Estate team. As Derek saw his mother, Cheryl Betyar, advance in professional real estate and become president of the San Diego Association of REALTORS®, he was convinced through his experiences with open houses, sales transactions, marketing and promoting the business that this was his definitive career choice. Derek graduated with a BA from the University of California, Riverside Business School, studying real estate and finance. Also, Derek’s employment in the construction field has given him insight in understanding costs, quality, and the property valuation and appraisal process.
