Dorie grew up in a large family, the youngest of six children, in Evanston/Skokie Illinois. She spent her High School years at Regina Dominican in Wilmette where she enjoyed playing sports, building lifelong friendships and learning how to create her path. Dorie enjoyed playing basketball and tennis since grade school. When it was time to look at colleges, she was drawn to Marquette University, where she played basketball and tennis, and earned a B.S in Marketing & Finance and a minor in Psychology.
Dorie has always been fascinated with understanding people's motivations and behavior. Early in her career, she worked in market research and media research for an advertising agency. In the evenings she attended Loyola University to earn an MBA in Marketing. She was promoted to Account Management, Strategy & Planning developing communications programs for small and Fortune 500 companies.
In 2004, she was ready for a change and she & her husband started investing in real estate & Dorie got her real estate license. Her analytical nature, drive to understand markets, creative marketing and sales strategies, which helped her advertising clients prosper, now help her real estate clients succeed. She is also certified as an Accredited Distressed Property Representative helping buyers & sellers with short sales and foreclosures.
Her goal is to really listen and understand her clients needs and desires so they can work together to find the best solution for her clients.
Over the last 20+ years she's lived in Lincoln Park, DePaul, North Center, Ravenswood Manor and Irving Park. She enjoys living in the city and her knowledge of Chicago neighborhoods, sales activity & market trends greatly benefit her clients. She believes knowledge is key to your success and will help you use timely information wisely so you can make the best decision for you. She is in constant communication with you to answer questions, provide updates and make sure everything is going smoothly.
