About Doug
Doug Sidell is a real estate investor, broker, entrepreneur, and trusted advisor. He started his real estate career in 1999 shortly after completing his undergraduate degrees in finance and forestry at Michigan State University. In conjunction with Doug's family's timber company in N. MI he began negotiating the purchase and sale of timber rights on large tracts of forestland. This led to real estate development, brokerage, and land sales. After several developments and earning my MBA in entrepreneurial marketing and supply chain management from Michigan State University he moved to Charlotte, NC and earned his real estate license. Doug's business now is primarily residential and commercial real estate in and around Charlotte/Lake Norman as well as in several key mountain towns throughout Western North Carolina. He's marketed and sold virtually every type of real estate: vacant land in Myers Park, Lake Norman, Lake Lure, etc. to starter homes to luxury estates to apartment complexes. His specialty is land brokerage. He's now a member of the REALTORS Land Institute earning my Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) credential. His ultimate goal is to provide the best advice possible to my clients in the purchase and sale of real property.
