Edward is a lifelong resident of Beaufort and the owner and Broker-In-Charge of Lowcountry Real Estate. Having had the privilege of listing and selling many of the most distinguished waterfront homes, historic properties, and plantations in the area, he has a proven track record of very satisfied and repeat clients making him the consistent leading luxury sales broker in the market.
Upon graduation from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, he worked for several years in commercial real estate and then returned to the Lowcountry.
In 1994, Edward formed a real estate firm specializing in commercial properties and the upper end of the residential market. After several successful years, that firm merged with Lowcountry Real Estate.
Edward stays active in the community and has served on a variety of civic and nonprofit boards including the Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce, Historic Review Board, The YMCA, Beaufort Academy, the Beaufort Memorial Hospital Foundation, The Beaufort County Open Land Trust, The Historic Beaufort Foundation, The Friends of the Spanish Moss Trail board and as served as President of the Beaufort County Board of Realtors twice.
When not working, he does his best to get outside for boating, golf, biking, kayaking, paddle boarding or anything on the water.
