Elaine Shankland

Originally from South Africa, Elaine spent many years living in Canada, before moving to Seattle in 1994. Prior to real estate, Elaine was a Systems Analyst and Programmer with Canadian Pacific. She also worked in Medical Accounting before moving into Real Estate Investing. The patience required in the complex environment of programming, detailed focus in accounting and the knowledge gained as a landlord and real estate investor are all experiences that Elaine brings to the table when representing her clients.

As a residential specialist, Elaine prides herself with the customer service, representation, negotiation and transactional excellence she provides her clients during the entire process of buying or selling their home.

Elaine believes strongly in continuing education and has additional certifications in many real estate specialty areas, such as Buyer Representation, Negotiation, Representation of 50+ and Marketing of Luxury Homes.

Elaine has a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Cape Town.
