Elizabeth McGuire

Along with her husband, John, a former home inspector, and her assistant, Charity, a home staging wonder woman, The McGuire Group provides five-star service for clients selling and buying real estate. With a creative yet no-nonsense approach, Elizabeth places a high value on keeping her clients fully informed every step of the way. She is highly organized, direct, and strategic.

A graduate of Vanderbilt University, Elizabeth started her professional life as a newspaper reporter and business columnist for The Nashville Banner. She is the co-author of a best-selling book on ethical business leadership, “The Transparency Edge: How Credibility Can Make or Break You in Business” (McGraw-Hill), which was translated into four languages and chosen by Fast Company magazine as a book of the month. Her background in executive coaching and leadership development provides a deep bag of skills she uses to exceed expectations and help clients navigate difficult decisions.

Elizabeth lives in Nashville with her husband, their son, Liam, and his adopted sister from China, Lucy Mei. She is an active member of West End United Methodist Church, where she served as chair of the church’s board of trustees, and she currently serves on the board of The Linden Waldorf School, where her children both attend.
