She resides in the aforementioned iconic landmark prewar building with her beloved 80 lb. rescue dog. I met Ellen in Central Park a few years ago. Our dogs hit it off and so did we. When looking for an apartment in NYC I told her what we were looking for and what we wanted. Ellen is a wonderful listener & clues in not just to what people want but also peoples personalities. She helped us find a wonderful apartment with a cross breeze, ample windows in a very desirable building on 76th & Broadway. Who knew good fortune would pay off? Ellen Kapit knew. She’s an exceptional person & an exceptional broker. She never tried to push or sell us anything we didn’t want. Now I’m a New Yorker for life. Ellen is amazing and "gets" New York because of her vast experience here. I had a very tricky situation trying to sell with my Co-op board and she has been far more supportive than one could expect from an agent and it has made all the difference.
