Ellen Valentgas

Ellen Valentgas, the 2017 Sotheby’s International Realty Cape Cod Agent of the Year, has lived in Osterville village for over a decade. A member of the Steering Committee for Osterville’s Business Professional Association, Ellen is deeply involved in organizing the events that make Osterville village so unique.

Prior to coming to Cape Cod, Ellen owned a landscape and design business on Nantucket for more than 20 years where she cultivated an attention to detail and a refined understanding of serving her clients’ specific needs.

Today, Ellen is in the top 2% of agents on Cape Cod. She mixes her design background with her passion for homes through her renovation and construction projects throughout the area. Her work is best exemplified by her showcase design of a property on Oyster Way in Oyster Harbors. Ellen’s energy and appreciation for natural flow both indoors and out combined to create this stunning home. Ellen uses her design and build experience to regularly aid clients with renovation projects after they have found and purchased a home. Her creative vision and her ability to connect homeowners with her personal introductions to quality tradespeople is instrumental in guiding her luxury clientele toward personalizing their homes.

Ellen is a member of the Cape Cod & Islands, Massachusetts and National Associations of Realtors and has earned the Resort and Second Home Property Specialist Designation. In 2016, Ellen was recognized as a Top 20 Agent of Cape Cod by Boston Top 20’s website and was second in overall sales production in the Osterville office. Ellen also leads the Osterville office in vacation rental representation.
