Closing the wealth gap in America will require an experienced professional who can influence the culture and restore hope in generational homeownership. As a homeownership expert, Eric Hellon has built his career on helping young aspiring homeowners understand the benefits of leveraging real estate to build wealth and has helped hundreds of first-time homebuyers purchase their first home smarter and faster than they thought possible.

Since 2006, he has served his clients as a real estate agent, broker, loan officer, certified financial coach, accountability coach and continues to be an outspoken advocate for the American Dream. Eric has dedicated his life to working one-on-one with individuals and families to help them create and execute customized plans to reach their personal finance and real estate goals, and he’s just getting started.

Hellon helps his clients buy, sell, and invest in real estate throughout the US, and serves as the Executive Director of a home readiness non-profit organization, called Homeowner Prep. Homeowner Prep was established after years of working with families and seeing the lack of dedicated - and affordable - accountability services for aspiring homeowners… especially in communities of color.

A big part of his focus is on encouraging individuals and families to pursue a sense of purpose in their personal and professional lives. He considers it his mission to inspire individuals to become better stewards of their finances, learn how to leverage real estate, and grow into a new awareness of the possibilities and financial choices available to them.

Hellon holds a B.A. in Business, a master's degree in Business Management and Leadership, a Financial Stewardship Coaching certificate, is a Dave Ramsey Certified Master Financial Coach, a designated First-Time Home Buyer Specialist, Military Relocation Professional, and has served on several community-based non-profit boards.

When he is not working hard to uplift other families, he is serving as a dedicated and present husband and father to his wife and two daughters. In his limited free time, he can often be found reading a personal development book or enjoying the outdoors on one of the many beaches in San Diego, California.
