If you’re in the market to buy or sell a home, Ernie Chamberlain is your guy! After living in my home for almost 29 years, Ernie and his GeorgeRVA associates made the process seem seamless. From staging, photos, marketing and above all clear and open communication, the entire process was stress-free. Ernie helped at every turn of this process. He is the kind of agent you’re looking for: responsive, knowledgeable, flexible, and engaged. He walked us through every step of the process when buying and, when selling, gave us guidance and advice that resulted in multiple offers within 24 hours and a sales price way (WAY) above asking. He put on open houses, coordinated multiple contractors to get our house ready (painter, plumber, tile specialist), and even did a bunch of small repairs around the house himself. We worked with Ernie to find a home in the Richmond after we decided to leave Nashville after 16 years. Ernie was incredibly patient as we started navigating the move (we took our sweet time!). The first or second house Ernie showed us, we walked in and within 5 minutes he turned to us and said "I would tell you not to buy this house". At that point we knew this was who we wanted to work with!

Ernie has a great eye for spotting what makes a house great and what could cost us a lot of money down the road. At one point, we were pretty sold on one house. Ernie encouraged us to keep looking and that we would find something even better. He was right!

We started out looking for a house we could be in for 5-7 years. Ernie helped us purchase a house we see ourselves being in a lot longer than that. He was great to work with, even from 500 miles away!

Home buyers and help me and my partner find an absolutely unreal home. His communication, even after closing, was extremely professional and timely. His knowledge of the market as well as what to look for in a home was top notch. I felt extremely confident with every home we visited that he was truly doing everything he could for us. Even at the first home we visited, he was on his hands and knee digging throw the leaves to check out the crawl space. A home, mind you we were definitely not putting an offer on. My only regret with Ernie is I wish our house hunting took a little longer because he was such a cool dude and I wish we could have gotten to know each other better.

Ernie is fantastic at helping people and families find their new home. Ernie first helped us move across the country from Texas to Virginia in early 2021. Ernie was extremely flexible with the showings and was able to do everything with virtual tours, since we were in Texas.
