Ethan Whitaker

Ethan Whitaker-Simmons is a Madison/Mansfield native and has been an agent since early 2018.

He sold appliances at Sears at the time and said he absolutely loved sales. While a family friend, who worked as a real estate agent was selling his father's home, Ethan said he got really interested in real estate and decided to give it a try.

Ethan, who has also been an EMT since he was 18, quickly found a passion for real estate.

"I love being a part of such a monumental moment in someone's life," he said. "Being their advocate through that process is pretty special, and just like I enjoy being my patient's advocate, real estate also gives me an amazing opportunity to be there for my clients."

While he loves helping all clients, Ethan said he particularly loves working with first-time homebuyers.

"I love to pay attention to the small details and just answering all the questions and simplifying the process for people -- letting them know I care," he said. "This area is my home and pretty much all I've ever known. It's always such a pleasure for me to help people from this community find their dream home."

Ethan said he chose Sluss because of a great experience with one of our Sluss agents, her review of our brokers and his own meetings with broker Grant Sluss.

"You can tell how much he cares about people and building relationships," Ethan said. "That's really important to me."
