About Gary
Gary Edwards II has been a Nevada resident since moving to Reno in 1974. Gary joined Dickson Realty in 2005 as a licensed Real Estate Agent and eventually obtained a Rental Property Manager license. Gary comes from a family of realtors who have specialized in the Reno/Sparks/Lake Tahoe area since the mid 1970's. Specifically Robbie Edwards, his business partner, friend and most importantly mother. After his father (Gary Sr) retired from a career in the military & aviation he obtained his realtor license and was best known for working at the model homes in Wingfield Springs. Robbie mentored Gary for several years before he obtained his own license to practice real estate. Gary thinks of himself as a well-rounded agent and not someone who specializes in just one field.
Gary specializes in working with first time home buyers, out of state buyers and sellers, trust properties, luxury homes, 55+ communities, investment properties, vacation/second homes, the condominium market, and property management. Gary is blessed to have a career he loves and enjoys. To be a successful agent, he believes one must have a solid relationship with their client. A relationship built on trust.
The only way to gain that trust is through hard work and honesty. Being truthful and having a strong work ethic are two of his best qualities as a realtor. A successful transaction is when, at the end of the deal, both sides feel that they have come out as a winner. Gary hopes that when the transaction is complete, his clients know they have found a competent realtor and a friend. He believes that being a realtor is a privilege, not just a job or a business but a responsibility to the public. Gary's duty is to guide and protect clients when they are making one of the most important financial decisions of their lives.
