George Charles Hanold V can still hear his father’s words echoing in his ear: “Whatever you do, be the best at it!” George has lived by those words his whole life, and he does so now more than ever as he serves his neighbors by protecting their real estate investments.
Originally from New York, George moved with his family to California when he was a child and brought his can-do attitude with him, as captain of his sports teams, president of his elementary school, and editor-in-chief of his school’s newspaper. Despite his educational aspirations, George decided that his business studies at San Diego State University weren’t teaching him real-world tactics, and he left to begin his real estate career.
George was mentored by some of the best talents in the industry, including CEOs, development company principals, and his father. A prime example of George’s fortitude is that he went head-to-head with central banks on behalf of his clients during the 2008-2009 financial crisis, overcoming tough obstacles and accomplishing nearly impossible tasks. Failure was — and still is — never an option.
The real estate profession enables George to play in what he considers to be the biggest game there is, and he does it with an abundance of love, encouragement, compassion, fearlessness, focus, and strength that his clients can rely on. His client demographic is vast: George works with first-time buyers, families, doctors, nurses, firefighters, private lenders, top commercial brokers, flippers, institutions, Fortune 500 CEOs, casino developers, banks, hedge funds, military, and pastors. He provides each of them with the succinct investment understanding and strategies he’s gained from working with major power players.
In addition to George’s real estate career, he has also been a congressional employee and volunteer youth minister. Married with three daughters, George adores his family and values spending time with them and friends. He loves his mom and his sister/partner in real estate, Regan. George and Regan were voted Orange County’s Best Real Estate Agents by the Los Angeles Times in 2017 and 2019.
Physically active, George enjoys ice hockey, golfing, swimming, and hiking. He finds great meaning in volunteer work and charitable giving through organizations such as Tanzania Children’s International, Trellis, All Things Possible, Compassion International, ATTA water, Faces of Santa Ana, and Love Costa Mesa. Additionally, George is open about his love of God. He believes he has a gift for helping others see themselves as God sees them, and he exhorts them to succeed in their purpose no matter the odds.
