George Liebes

The Caldwell Co. was founded in 1987 by Broker/Owner George J. Liebes CRS, GRI, CHLS. The name “Caldwell” came from the grandfather of George’s childhood best friend. Harold Caldwell was an “old school” Austin Realtor back in the days before Eanes was a School District and Westlake Hills was considered the Hill Country. Austin High School was located at 1212 Rio Grande and the Austin Community College was a glint in the eyes of the Austin I.S.D. It was a privilege to be a family’s Realtor for life. As lawyers and more lengthy contracts took the place of a man or women’s handshake, Harold eased out of the business. His only regret from his Real Estate career was that he did not keep every Central Austin & Hill Country property that he had bought. George has spent the past 29 years brokering deals for clients and investing in Central Austin and the Texas Hill Country’s real estate markets. He has successfully negotiated over five hundred contracts. He mentors his agents the old fashion way, by spending time with them and training them himself. He works tirelessly for his clients and insists that “expertise, knowledge and competency are the foundation for all the brokers and agents who are part of The Caldwell Co.”
