To successfully sell a home for the absolute most money is based on hiring the right real estate agent. I knew that I had selected the right agent with gift and Glen Bing that evening after I had signed up with them in the afternoon. Gift and Glenn are the best realtors in the DMV!! They are super knowledgeable about the DMV area real estate market. Gift is a great negotiator and always has any counter offers or contracts in a timely manner. Being a buyer in the seller market is very hard for me because I only have a limited budget to purchase a home. Gift was able to find a house that fits all of our criterias and budget before it even hit the market! With Gift’s amazing negotiation skills and expertise in the real estate market, we were able to agree on the selling price and secure the closing cost from the seller. Putting all of these virtues in one business person made my experience and my families experience a joy to work with. We bought our first home from her in 2012. When it came to the purchase of my home I had very high expectations. I needed an agent who would understoodI my needs, could work within my budget, and assure the house was move-in-ready! After interviewing and consulting with Gift I knew she was an expert. She connected me with her lender so I had my pre-approval letter and targeted budget range. Selling our home was one of the most stressful financial decisions we have ever had to face. I interviewed a dozen or so agents and tried to find the best agent who would be able to sell our house fast and save us money. I was bamboozled into selecting a discount agent the first time. It looked like that was not a bad idea for us since we are not going to make much after the house was sold. Gift was referred to us by one of her clients, who was also my friend. Gift presented a professional and solid marketing plan. She provided us realistic market analytics. We liked her, we liked her marketing plan and we liked her strategy, which was based on practical, real-world experience! Her personal attributes included confidence, honesty and seasoned professionalism. We decided to give Gift a chance to sell our home. Sure enough Gift was the difference! She got our home under contract at a higher listing price! WOW! We didn’t’ know that experience, know-how could make such a BIG difference. Lesson learned: Never go with a discount agent.
