Glenn Brander

Glenn Brander is a Partner in the ownership of Miller and Desatnik Realty Corp. Glenn began his real estate brokerage career at Daum Commercial in the Spring of 1988. After four great years at Daum, Glenn had a calling to join his family in the apparel business, where he spent the next 9 years teaming with his father in the creation of a successful women’s sportswear company. During his time in the apparel business, Glenn invested in his first apartment building. As an apartment owner, Glenn immediately recognized the benefits of income property ownership: wealth building, passive income, and tax shelter- just to name a few of these benefits. Empowered with the knowledge and experience of apartment ownership, it did not take long for Glenn to realize his new career path. In 2003, Glenn joined Miller & Desatnik Realty Corp., a place he has called his business home ever since. Glenn has enjoyed the most successful, fulfilling 20+ years of his working life while at “M & D.” Glenn’s top priority is the client.

When buying his own house, Glenn noticed how indifferent the agents were during the transaction. Based on his lackluster experience as the client, Glenn recognized that when brokering apartment investments, one can really stand out by simply having a sense of urgency to ensure the client’s needs are truly being met. Glenn also has the keen ability to recognize up-and-coming areas, and when it might be the right time for an owner to sell. Clients have come to rely on Glenn’s guidance and foresight, as it relates to what occurs after the sale. Glenn is skilled in devising the appropriate game plan for each client, knowing whether one should do a 1031 tax-deferred exchange, or simply cash out.

Most of Glenn’s clients are not active apartment operators, but instead, passive investors. Without proper guidance, acquiring an investment property could be a stressful experience. Glenn ensures a streamlined process in order to make it comfortable and easy for clients. He helps the client through every step of the way and strives to assure that clients do not feel any burden during or after the transaction. Glenn has been married to his wife Cara for over 22 years and they have two daughters. They live in Santa Monica. Out of the office, Glenn enjoys playing golf, working out, and watching his kids play sports. He served on the Board of the Brentwood Country Club for several years. Glenn holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern California with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance.
