She and her husband, Gene Elrod, have been married for 27 years, and have three children, Mazie, Isabelle, and Joseph. Heather has an Associate of Arts in General Studies degree from SDSU. She has worked in sales, hospitality, and the transportation industry prior to her real estate career. She prides herself on her work ethic, which was learned growing up on a farm, and being the oldest of five children.
