Heather Mackey

Born and raised in Florence, SC, Heather is proud to be a lifelong resident of the south. Mackey graduated from Clemson University, earning her degree in Marketing and upon graduating began her career as a representative in pharmaceutical sales. Soon after a relocation to Charlotte in 2001, she settled in Myers Park and fell in love with the Queens City. Invigorated by the city and its neighborhoods, she decided to combine her background for marketing and sales with her passion for home design and become a licensed real estate agent servicing both North and South Carolina in 2008.

Her personal approach and understanding of real estate were founded under the tutelage of Marilyn Hartley with Marilyn Hartley Realty, where she soon became one of the firm’s top producers. In 2011 she joined the Dickens Mitchener team and continued to be ranked as one of its top producers.

Mackey has a strong knowledge of the Charlotte neighborhoods and understands the key roles that communication and strategic promotion play when it comes to creating a smooth transaction. She believes that buying and selling a home is a personal experience, and that it is imperative to pay attention to every detail when it comes to better understanding her clients’ needs. With a foundation of teamwork, she forms relationships based on honesty and trust.

Mackey has called the Eastover, Myers Park, and Dilworth neighborhoods home since moving to Charlotte in 2001. She is the proud mom to her three daughters Cameron, Liza, and Caroline, and continues to be very involved in the community, and is an active member of Forest Hill Church.
