Herb is married and lives in Arvada. He has seventeen grandchildren. He was in the us navy and was a navy diver on a nuclear-powered submarine-ssbn602 Abraham Lincoln. He enjoys water skiing, hiking, rafting and have climbed mountains on three continents.
