About Illona

Illona has been a resident of Denver since 1988. She is an Army "brat" and uses her military background to help bring families home. She is a certified NFCU Realtor. She has been in Residential Real Estate sales for 22 years with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. She was awarded the "Shining Star" by Floyd Wickman (Sweat Hogs Training) in her first year in Real Estate. Her clients have honored her by nominating her for the 5280 Magazines '5-Star Realtor' Award since 2010. Her most coveted award, however, was being named "Best Mom EVER" by her son, Dan. She was thrilled when Dan decided that he wanted to get this real estate license 7 years ago and join her in the family business. After all, he had been in the business unofficially since he was six years old.

Illona is ranked among the top 10% of real estate brokers in the country. Her designations include CRB, CRS, SRES and CNE, however, she tells her clients that her greatest achievement is that nearly 80% of her clients come from past client referrals. She strives to ensure that all her clients are treated like family and believes that the real estate closing is not the end of the relationship, but the beginning.

She is a graduate of Texas AM University, where she studied business and accounting. Yes, she is a blonde, left-handed, "Aggie"
She is going to become a Dolphin trainer when she finally retires, but that is not in the near future since she absolutely adores her buyers and sellers and feels blessed to be helping them to get to their next step in life!

She loves having time with her son, being walked by her ferocious Yorkie, Bode, and laughing as often as possible (usually at herself).
She believes that you should always under promise and over deliver, and the highest compliment is a client deciding they want to go into real estate, because that means that she has made the process seem really easy.

Her mottos in life are 'Failure is not an option' and 'Play Hard, Work Harder', and most importantly, 'They don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care'

When she can get away, she prefers a quiet sunny beach and the ocean!
