Irina Hill

Irina Hill is a Senior Real Estate Specialist with eXp Realty Luxury Collection. She helps people with their life transition. She works with seniors directly, mortgage experts, financial planners and healthcare professionals to evaluate how her services can improve their lives. She is a CPA with an MBA from Pepperdine University. Besides many years of tax and financial planning experience, she also offers unique marketing expertise learned through her real estate career and education. Less than 1% of Realtors manage to get both Senior Real Estate Specialist and Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist Designations, which she acquired in order to better serve her clients' needs.

In the beginning, Irina wanted to be a dancer. She dreamed of being on a stage and inspire people by the passion and emotion she conveyed through movement. She wanted to make the world more beautiful through art.

However, Irina's wise parents tricked her into getting a university education first. By the time she got her master's degree in Linguistics and Roman Philology (a science of structure, historical development, and relationships of languages) it was too late for dance school. Instead of dancing, she became a professor of English for non-English speaking medical students in Europe, changing the world by removing language barriers between doctors.

When Irina came to the U.S., in 1999, she had no idea what to pursue as a career. She's always been good with numbers, so she fell into a tax planning career. To keep her clients confident that they were in good hands, she obtained her MBA degree and a CPA license, but she didn't have a true passion for her work. She was good at it, but she didn't feel like she was making a difference in people's lives. She kept searching for something more fulfilling, her life's true calling.

Irina spent a few years trying to make the World healthier as a Pilates instructor and nutrition coach. She was even Miss Fitness in 2012! But she began to realize that she couldn't go to the gym and lift weights for her clients or eat their broccoli for them. She could only be a guide; her clients had to do the work themselves.

Irina's husband, Curtis, is a financial advisor, and between his work and her CPA experience, she learned about investments and real estate, and how much money could be made if handled correctly. She learned the intricacies of real estate transactions, financing puzzles, and the importance of proper planning when it comes to business, especially real estate business.

Irina and Curtis flipped several houses. That's where she learned how crucial it was to have the right Realtor working for you. Good advice from a Realtor can save you tons of money and change your life for the better, but bad advice from a Realtor can ruin you financially.

One day, as Irina sat in her beautiful, bright penthouse CPA office, analyzing a real estate transaction for a client, she had an epiphany: why am I not a Realtor? She'd dealt with hundreds of real estate transactions, she studied the market, she knew real estate, she already gave real estate investment advice, and she loved doing it!

So, Irina became a Realtor, and found a career she was passionate about. When she helped people through fitness and nutrition, she could only plan their path to health, but they had to do the work. As a Realtor, she could keep the transactions in order and do the heavy lifting in marketing for her clients. They didn't have to do a thing!

When Irina is not helping her clients, she is in the gym, exploring the world with Curtis, or playing with their dog Lucie whom they recently rescued. She is a dogoholic.

Irina's found her own slice of happiness. But she also found something even better: she found the way she could make a difference!
