Originally from Queens, she earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees at Queens College. She holds 2 Masters, one in Counseling and the other in Special Education. Iris previously worked as a guidance counsel for special-ed children and in sales in the garment center.
A resident of NY for over 25 years, she raised her children in the Village and has called White Plains home with her family for the past decade. Iris is very active in her local community, is a member of USTA, and an avid tennis player.
