Jack Balland

Born and raised in Wilmington, Jack has a deep-rooted understanding of what makes this community special. He spent his summers working for his father’s engineering firm alongside the surveyors, gaining firsthand insight into the city’s growth and development. This early exposure sparked a lasting interest in real estate and laid the foundation for his future career.
After graduating from New Hanover High School in 2018, Jack attended the University of Mississippi, where he earned a degree in Marketing. He launched his real estate career in Oxford, Mississippi, working with a local firm where he learned to emphasize the importance of client-first service and negotiating the best possible deals.

Eager to return to his hometown, Jack joined Maus, Warwick, Matthews & Co. in 2025. He is currently working toward his CCIM designation to further his knowledge and expertise in commercial real estate.

Outside of work, Jack enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing, and spending time on the water. He and his fiancée, whom he met in college, are excited to build their life together in Wilmington. She plans to pursue a career in education, while their black lab, Otis, keeps them both on their toes and well entertained.
