John E. “Jack” Huguley, Jr. is a Charleston native with 30+ years of sales, marketing, and management experience. This translates into an accomplished performance-oriented real estate executive with high standards for effectiveness. Creative solutions come naturally to Jack, and negotiating even the most complex transactions are met with poise derived from years of forging productive outcomes. Jack was President of the John Huguley Co., Inc. here in Charleston before becoming CEO of six operating companies owned by publicly held U.S. Office Products (USOP) and subsequently President of USOP’s Office Furniture Division. When global distributor Corporate Express acquired USOP, Jack was named a Regional Vice President for eight of its sixteen North American office furniture divisions. In 2005, Jack and his wife, Vivian, returned to Charleston to care for elderly parents, where for the next ten years, Jack served as the Director of Alumni Relations at his alma mater, the College of Charleston (B.S., Business Administration, 1972).
Aside from his knowledge of the local real estate market and his extensive personal and professional network, Jack employs a perspective of having also lived in metropolitan areas outside of Charleston. Jack and his family have lived in Washington (D.C.), Baltimore, Louisville, Sarasota, Jackson (M.S.), and Atlanta. His relocation experience is especially beneficial to clients moving into Charleston for the first time. Jack and Vivian have two married children, and three grandchildren and reside in downtown Charleston. Jack is a lifelong golfer and an avid boater. Jack and Vivian are active members of Seacoast Church. Jack has served in a volunteer leadership capacity for several national and local organizations
