James Cannon

Jim started his business experience with selling magazine subscriptions in a school contest at about age 10. It didn't hurt that his mom had a beauty salon where he could pitch subscriptions to a temporarily captive audience. His next business was lawn cutting jobs and hiring his own staff for help all before the age of 16.

After attending the University of Alabama and graduating from Troy University with a BS in marketing, Jim opened his first retail business "Body Bizarre" selling natural shampoos and lotions in Tallahassee FL. Eventually the draw of the beach was too much to deny, and Jim got his Real Estate license and moved to Panama City Beach.

After several years as an agent, he got an opportunity to open what was formerly "The Beach Party" and opened "Schooners", a gulf front bar and restaurant. Under his ownership the business grew from three employees to over sixty by the time he sold it to pursue other opportunities.

After selling Schooners, he returned to Troy University and acquired his MBA. He returned to PCB and worked alongside good friends at Beach TV for a few years when he became reacquainted with Kerry Jackson. She encouraged him to return to Real Estate and he did just as the market was taking off in 2004. After a wild couple of years things settled down and really got tough starting in 2008.

Now with a new approach, and some adjustments, it is time to join forces with PCB Experts and help clients and investors fulfill their dreams of living and playing at " The World's Most Beautiful Beach"
