About James
Born in Manhattan, raised in Westchester, educated in the Bronx and currently a homeowner in Brooklyn... it is safe to say James knows New York City from a number of different perspectives.
Growing up, James always had a job in the hospitality industry or at a summer camp, his early workdays instilling in him a keen understanding of how to take care of his clients and run an effective team. His real estate career started at a boutique firm in 2014 where he quickly became known as an energetic team member, embracing of long hours and dedicated to every client he encountered. A year later he was promoted to the helm of their Williamsburg office, where he ran a team of 30+ agents, all committed to providing excellent service for their sellers, landlords, buyers and renters. In 2019, James chose to leave his management role to focus on his individual clients.
Named one of Crain’s Rising Stars in 2020, James’ approach to every client is bespoke. It starts with listening carefully to their needs then coming up with creative solutions to get them the best results. His key ingredients are individualized attention, tenacity, and creativity.
James has owned his co-op apartment in Park Slope since the summer of 2017 and is an active member of the Montauk Club, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and the Brooklyn Museum. When he is not focused on real estate, he is either teaching his son to play the drums, trying to best his wife on the tennis court or out fishing.
