Aubrey and Jared were an awesome team to work with! Anytime we saw a listing we liked, they jumped right on over there to preview it for us. It was like having inspector gadget (Jared who is extremely knowledgeable in reasons not to pick a house like soil grading and potential structural problems) so you know you aren’t getting a lemon, plus all the amazing realtor skills and charisma, perfectly-timed jokes/memes, moral support and hope from lovely and hilarious Aubrey that kept us going on days where we felt like giving up. They just weren’t the homes for us.

Once we found THE one it all made sense. The market is still crazy, y'all. But with the extremely helpful guidance of the O’ Brien team, also Cindy Hanlon (who was also amazing and recommended by them) at CEFCU for staying late to remove our contingency and help us with a bridge loan, and of course the grace of God, it happened! We bought our home somewhat sight unseen while still living in North Carolina, in a small time window waiting for our kids school to get out. Talk about a challenge! Pfew! They didn't make it feel that way. It was all seamless and we loved the family photo gift we received in our packet. A nice touch. We couldn’t have done it without them. Jared and team are amazing. They were very patient with us as we looked at many houses. As first time home buyers our budget wasn't very large so we were searching for a fixer upper. Jared brought some home maintenance and repair experience to help us sort through which problems were too big for us to handle. Never once did we feel pressured to make an offer on a home, rather Jared was quick to criticize some homes when we needed it. In the end, we found a great home in our ideal location!!! Sara is one of the best people, in any position from any company, that I've ever worked with. We worked together for MONTHS. She was constantly making herself available no matter the circumstance, and considering how fast the homes were being sold at this time that was extremely important. In fact, that was the only reason we got the house we are in (first to see it, immediately made an offer). I am a huge nature buff and put a lot of emphasis on the yard, and she even prepared herself to join me in walking the property line no matter the weather. Paperwork from the team was fast, very well explained, and even through a small hurdle with the homeloan Sara was right there to ensure it was quickly corrected on our behalf. I bought my house in 2019 after moving back from Colorado. Let's be clear -- moving back, I had no intention of purchasing a home. Didn't even think I could afford one, let alone did I feel that I was prepared for the whole process of actually procuring one.
This is where Sarah with the O'Brien team came through CLUTCH. She walked me through many a house, pointing out positives, negatives, and everything in between from her personal and professional experience. She was so flexible and readily available to meet/talk through any issues, concerns, or questions I had. She guided me (more like took the reigns) through the inspection processes, the negotiating, and all else that I truly could not have gotten done on my own. In the end, I found a great little place in a great neighborhood, and was left feeling satisfied while minimally exhausted, thanks to her efforts. If she is representative of the O'Brien team with Jim Maloof as a whole, I 100 percent vouch for and would recommend to any homebuyer, but especially first time buyers who may feel apprehensive and unprepared to take on such a venture on their own. I had the pleasure of working with Aubrey O’Brien, of The O'Brien Team with Jim Maloof Realtor, for both the sale of my previous home and the purchase of my current one, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The entire O’Brien team is friendly, hard-working, and knowledgeable. Aubrey went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I were satisfied.

From the start, Aubrey made us feel like a priority and was available to answer any questions we had. She provided expert advice and guidance throughout both the selling and buying process, making what could have been a stressful experience a fun one.

Aubrey was incredibly attentive and listened to all of our needs and wants in a home. We were not in a hurry to move and had a long and specific list of wishes including a pool, lake or pond, walk-out basement, acreage, that was close to Peoria, with neighbors and good schools.
