Jason Saunders

Jason Saunders is the Principal Broker and Co-Owner of Rashkind Saunders & Co. Real Estate. In his role as Principal Broker, Jason is responsible for all business activities and operations of the real estate brokerage. Licensed since 2004, Jason began his career as an accomplished Sales Associate helping clients buy and sell single-family homes and investment properties. Jason earned his Real Estate Broker's license in 2011, and in 2014 Jason made the decision to open Rashkind Saunders & Co. Real Estate with the goal of building a client-focused, independently owned and operated, full service real estate brokerage.

Raised in Virginia Beach, VA Jason attended Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, VA where he studied Political Science and History. He relocated to Richmond, VA permanently in 2002 and soon after discovered his passion for real estate and the Richmond area. He has more than 13 years of experience in residential real estate and has been recognized by the Richmond Association of Realtors (RAR) as a top Distinguished Achiever, having been awarded the Ruby outstanding production award, RAR’s top award for 2015, 2016, and 2017. As the Principal Broker of Rashkind Saunders & Co. Real Estate, Jason is focused on ensuring that our Real Estate Sales Associates conduct themselves with the highest level of professionalism, honor and respect for our clients. He is responsible for the supervision of all brokerage activities and oversees all compliance matters at the firm.

Jason and his wife, Carey, live in Henrico's West End with their daughter Sophie, and dog Julep. In his spare time, Jason enjoys traveling with his family. Some of their favorite spots include Aruba, the Outer Banks, and regular trips to The Greenbrier resort in West Virginia. Jason is an avid horse racing enthusiast, regularly attending the Breeders Cup World Thoroughbred Championships each fall, in fact he has attended the Kentucky Derby more than 13 times and counts down the days until what he considers the very best time of the year, that first Saturday in May at historic Churchill Downs. He is also a lifelong fan of the New York Mets, which Jason blames on attending hundreds of Tidewater Tides games as child in Virginia Beach.
