A University of Wyoming graduate with a degree in Economics and Finance, Jay began his real estate career in 2019 with Engel & Völkers Vail, where he accepted a position as Administrative Assistant immediately after college. Over the next two years, Jay worked tirelessly behind the scenes while studying for his real estate license. Once licensed, he became the trusted assistant to Tyra Rudrud, one of Vail’s top-producing brokers since 1996. Under Tyra’s mentorship, Jay gained firsthand experience with over $150 million in transaction volume, eventually handling every contract and becoming an integral part of the business during her most successful years. In 2023, Jay stepped out on his own. His first year as an independent broker was a breakout success: he closed $20 million in transaction volume and earned the #4 spot at his firm for 2024.
