About Jeff

Jeff Pust is a lifetime Thurston County resident. He has been married to his high school (Go Cougs) sweetheart for 36 plus years. They have two wonderful daughters: one a college graduate with a BS in Equine Science, and the other a graduate of the University of British Columbia. Jeff’s hobbies include assisting his wife and daughter with their horse ranch business, exercise, and cycling where he has completed the Seattle to Portland and the Seattle to Vancouver, BC bicycle rides.

Jeff’s real estate career started in 1986 when he first became a mortgage loan originator at a sister company of Van Dorm Realty. For the next 8 years Jeff originated mortgage loans at several different institutions, became an underwriter of mortgage loans, and towards the end of his banking career worked a bit as an appraiser. In 1994 Jeff joined the family firm as a real estate salesperson until his wife’s parents retired in 2004. Since then, Jeff and his wife have successfully been running Van Dorm, survived the crash years, and have grown their business to over 100 brokers.

During his tenure in real estate Jeff have served on three real estate related boards. Jeff was a member and eventual Chairman of the Olympia Thurston County MLS, and he is a current board member and Treasurer for the Northwest Multiple Listing Service. Jeff has also served as an alternate member on the Thurston County Board of Tax Appeals.

Jeff is passionate about real estate. He is emphatic about doing "right" by the people we serve and the brokers they participate in transactions with.
