My name is Jeff Skinner and I'm a Realtor here in beautiful Summit County Colorado. Like many, I was drawn here by the mountains and their allure of endless activity, beauty, and excitement. I attended Clemson University in South Carolina from 2007 to 2011 and while I was earning my degree in Economics I took as many opportunities as possible to learn about leadership and people. After college, I felt obligated to return to my family’s business where I had worked throughout my life and learn as much as I could from the people I look up to most in this world my family. One day an email from Vail Resorts looking for seasonal employees found its way to me. After searching through their available jobs, I was quickly attracted to their Reservations Department, where I would sell ski vacations (lodging, lift tickets, rentals, transportation, etc.) to people all over the country. The job was in Keystone, Colorado where I moved quickly and excitedly in November of 2012. While I didn't h ave much sales experience, my commitment to customer service and leadership was noticed quickly and I was promoted within a month of starting.After a successful first winter in the Mountains I was hooked, and needed to find a career; and while Vail Resorts was wonderful I really craved the small business environment that I was so used to back home. By chance, I met a couple that had been successful in Real Estate, and they decided to take me under their wing at their company, Cornerstone Real Estate. I worked as their assistant for over a year, learning as much as I could about buying, selling, negotiating marketing, and how to help clients reach their goals. In May of 2014 I earned my Real Estate license, and started my own journey as a Realtor. As always, I maintain a stern commitment to customer service and working hard for my clients. Now, I get to enjoy Summit County as a resident, and also get to help others enjoy Summit County however they would Like as well.
