Jennifer Barnes

Jennifer Barnes has been a real estate broker in Chicago for 20 years with approximately two hundred closed properties representing both buyers and sellers.

In addition to collaborating with sellers, Jennifer specializes in first-time buyers and newcomers to Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.

Jennifer strives to make every real estate transaction as stress-free as possible by arming her clients with a thorough knowledge of the buying and selling process, the market data to help them make an informed decision, and when necessary, a dose of humor. She receives consistent accolades from clients for her excellent communication skills.

There are few scenarios she has not seen, and few problems she has not found a way to overcome. She prides herself on being more than a transactional agent and is available to her clients post-closing as a trusted resource.

Jennifer harkens from Evanston and has lived in Chicago for over 20 years, with 13 of those years being in Logan Square. She holds a BA in Humanities from Shimer College. In her spare time, she enjoys Chicago's vibrant dining scene, yoga, travel, and a good bourbon. She is a board member and volunteer for CANTER Chicago, a non-profit organization that helps retiring racehorses find loving homes.

Most recently, Jennifer was voted "best real estate agent" in the Chicago Reader's "Best of 2019" poll. She is honored to be included among so many wonderful small businesses representing a city she loves.
