Native Houstonian Jennifer Herrera’s strong executive background in non-profit management uniquely qualifies her to assist home buyers and sellers in the northwest Houston area. For more than 23 years, Jennifer assisted area non-profit organizations and private foundations in recruiting, mentoring, training, communications, public health, project management, budgeting, leadership, and partnerships. When Hurricane Harvey hit Houston in 2017, Jennifer worked successfully to find resources for devastated residents to repair their homes, an experience that lead her to become a Realtor.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Jennifer assists sellers and buyers with residential property transactions and farm and ranch sales. “I do not aspire for people to use my Realtor services to just sell or buy a home,” Jennifer says. “I want them to invest in their own stories and find a home that will bring them more opportunities to create great memories. A home is about so much more than owning a piece of land; it’s about creating a space where family and friends come together to share joys and get through hardships.”
As a Realtor with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Green, Jennifer has teamed with a company that shares her interest in building relationships and strengthening communities. “Earning a living is great, building relationships is the true goal,” she says. “Our agent team at the Tomball office is a creative and resourceful group invested in delivering quality services and serving as advocates for the families that choose to work with us.”
Jennifer graduated from Texas A&M University with a BA in speech communication. A resident of Spring, she and her husband are the proud parents of four children who blessed their family through birth and adoption, and she serves as vice president of her local POA. In 2019, she shepherded the development of her neighborhood’s first community garden and continues to help plan additional community events. Jennifer is an accomplished Mexican Folk artist whose work has been presented in galleries throughout Houston, Spring, Liberty Hill, and Austin; a writer of short stories; a dedicated gardener; and a serious walker. She enjoys gatherings with her extended Texas family of more than 75 cousins and her friends.
