Hello there and thank you for reading my bio! My 23 year journey in Real Estate has seen it all from the lowest interest rates in history to the housing market crash during tough national economic times. I began in office management where I learned the administrative details of the industry and was quickly offered an opportunity to be the Relocation Director for a large national Real Estate franchise covering coastal Georgetown and Horry Counties. In 2006, after working with and training agents, I decided that it was time to join the sales force. I have consistently ranked in the top agent production tier as a member of the Coastal Carolina Association of Realtors and have won many awards including the “Preserving the Trust” awarded for outstanding customer service and loyalty to the company, the “Five Star Circle of Excellence” award, as well as various other listing and sales leader awards.
Throughout the years I have made many friends both locally and nationally as I believe in being friendly, personable and making people feel comfortable. My experience in the corporate relocation world of transferring families and individuals into AND out of the area has proved invaluable as I understand the stresses and details involved in moving. And did I mention that I love working with first time home buyers? They are always the most excited on closing/moving day! A big part of my job is to oversee the entire flow and process of the buying and selling experience. Inspectors, Surveyors, Lenders, Attorneys, Appraisers, Contractors - everyone plays a part in the big picture and I like to keep everything going as smoothly as possible.
Now here's a little about me personally! My husband Chris (of 23 years) and I have three incredible children - Maggie (20), Tucker (17) and Matthew (14). As a family we enjoy spending time in the local waters - creeks, rivers and the Atlantic - there's water everywhere! We really enjoy water sports such as skiing, tubing, and wake boarding and definitely love to fish, duck hunt, and spend as much time outdoors as possible which our mild climate allows us to do basically all year round. Fresh seafood is on the menu at our home regularly ranging from the best steamed oysters (yes we go out and harvest them ourselves!), to fried shrimp and flounder (yes we catch them ourselves!) - there is nothing better! Over the years we have spent much of our time at the baseball field cheering on one or more kids, Scouting events, Cross Country and dance competitions and performances. Needless to say, we have taken great pride in raising our children in an area that has so much to offer - what a great place to grow up! It does my heart good when I hear my children say how lucky they are to live where they do.
