Jim was able to find several places that were in the area and price range that we were looking for and set up appointments so that we could see as many as possible in one trip. Working with Jim in finding the perfect place to live was a pleasant adventure. We were pretty set on staying in the Edgewater/Rogers Park area, close to the lake, and got even more than what we were expecting. Jim made himself very available to us whenever we had questions, and gave us a lot of great information and tips on looking for housing in Chicago land that we were unaware of. We could tell that we were working with the right person when we were given honest answers and transparency about the properties we were viewing. Along with all the thoughtfully scheduled viewing of amazing properties, Jim also has a great sense of humor to go with each tour. The professionalism, punctuality, and honesty that Jim provided us made finding a new place very low stress. My partner and I love where we are now living and would HIGHLY recommend Jim as a realtor to work with others in the future.

Jim was an absolute pleasure to work with this summer and fall as my partner and I were looking for a rental property in Chicago's Edgewater/Rogers Park neighborhoods.

Before working with Jim, we were stressed about having to move in the middle of a pandemic: what sort of places would be available, and how would we view them safely? Not only was Jim very conscious of mask wearing and social distancing, he made the whole process a breeze. Jim helped us find dozens of apartments that fit our needs, wants, and especially budget, and he took us on multiple tours where we would consistently view 5+ properties in just one evening after work. When we had just 2 weeks to move and find a new place, we were incredibly impressed by how Jim arranged so many viewings of apartments that fit our needs in such a short time, helping us find the absolute perfect apartment. I know from experience that when you looking for rentals on your own, it takes days to hear back from property owners and it's difficult to view multiple properties in a day, so Jim's ability to efficiently show us apartments alone gives him 5 stars in my book.

But that's not even the whole picture of how great Jim is! Jim's demeanor and candor when taking us to viewings was above and beyond anything we expected of working with a realtor (since it was our first time doing so). Not only did he help us understand what to look for in rentals and was sincere with his support, Jim's humor and affability with us was what made working with him a dream. Whenever we met with him to view rentals, he led us with his friendly and caring personality and we always felt that he was someone we could trust to have our backs (and make a few jokes :P).

I highly recommend working with Jim for renting or buying in Chicagoland. If I could give him more than 5 starts, I would. Thank you so much, Jim, for everything!

My girlfriend and I were very lucky to find Jim when we did. At the time, we were looking for an apartment in the Chicago area. We weren’t very happy with what we were finding at our price point. It was then that Jim floated the idea of buying a house. At first, I was a little shocked and in denial. Like, home ownership is for rich people. Jim got me in contact with an amazing mortgage lender named Conrad, and within a few weeks I was pre-approved for a loan that I could not have imagined was possible. Our mortgage is actually less than what we were looking to spend on rent! Time was getting short, though. I had about a month left before my lease was up on my old apartment, and they wouldn’t budge on giving me an extension shorter than a full year. It was a scary time with the pandemic on the rise. Jim and Conrad worked day and night and were always available for questions and emotional support to ensure that we closed within the unconventional timeframe that we needed. Three weeks after we made our first offer, we were fully closed on the house. It was nothing short of a miracle, and we couldn’t have dreamed of the life we have today without Jim’s help. Cannot recommend highly enough.
