We were in a situation where we had owned and been living in a tri-level home for the last 32 years. We were both seniors now and our sons long grown, married and out of the house. We came to a place in our lives where we needed to move to a one-level home for our health and well being. We asked our friends if they knew any reputable real estate agents. We were given Jim Starwalt's name. We contacted Jim and he immediately setup an appointment to meet with us and determine our wants and needs in a new home. He walked us through the process we would go through selling our existing home and buying a new home. Through Jim's amazing team we were guided through the process of preparing our home for sale and how to make it look it's best. He set us up with a mortgage company and we began the pre-approval process for a new mortgage. Through Jim's wonderful team our home was placed on the market on a Friday afternoon and it sold on the following Tuesday above our asking price. Through Jim and his team we found a home that fit our every need! He helped us find an excellent lawyer, sell our home, go through the inspection process on the new home, get the best price on our new home, and close on our new home. Through the team's excellent work we were able to close on our old home, close on our new home, and move on the same day! Through this entire process the entire team treated us like we were royalty! If there was a chance to give more than 5 stars, I would. My experience with BHG The Star Home Team was beyond my expectations. From the beginning knowing that I had to sell the property that my late wife who just passed away June of this year, 2023. Jim Starwalt, our agent very much understood the reality of my emotional stress knowing how I was feeling. He stood by me as a few tears began to roll down my cheeks thinking how hard selling the property that my wife and I wanted as our forever home. One that we could sit back and watch the years go by with the thought of seeing our grandchildren stopping by for a visit as I start up the BBQ grill for a few burgers and hot dogs. With Jims hand on my shoulder he said to me think it over before you make the decision on selling. Give it it time. That in itself made me know that I had made the right choice to go with The Star Team. Even though I had time to think about it, I knew that I had to do something. Before my wife passed away, we had talked about selling the property, but wanted another season on the water. That did not happen because my wife was diagnose with stage 4 pancreatic cancer and passed away 8 days later as I held her and watched her take her last breath here on earth. The thing is, Jim understood this and it wasn't about the money. It was about the true heart this guy has and how it made me feel that his company was the best of the best. By the way, my property sold in less than a week with all the help The Star Home Team did to make it sold. Thank you Jim and all the rest of his team! God bless you all.

Jim was excellent. I had already moved to a different state, and I had to sell my home remotely. Jim handled everything. He was able to do all of my documentation remotely, he arranged for all of the details at the house before showings. He even checked on the house at least once a week to make sure everything was running properly and secure. On a couple of occasions I had to ask him to run to the house to check a few things for me. I listed my house with Jim for Sale and Rent both going thru some other reviews on web and keeping in mind his knoledge about the local area. We got our first offer for sale within a week which was a cash offer but that party almost wasted 3 weeks for attorney reviews and inspections and without sharing the inspection report wanted me to cut down big price.
