Joe Azar, the founder of the esteemed Azar Team and Managing Director of New Development Leasing for Douglas Elliman, Florida, has enjoyed a thriving career since entering the business in 2006. Brooklyn-born and bred, Joe began his career in New York City, where his reputation for excellence won him many notable sales awards and a long list of devoted clients.

Joe built his business on referrals and is honored by the devotion of his many repeat clients who have shaped his highly successful career. Known for his client-first approach, Joe provides his clientele with unrivaled insight into the latest market dynamics, unparalleled white-glove service, and a comprehensive understanding of all types of real estate.

Joe’s quick rise in New York City real estate ultimately culminated in a Senior Management role overseeing many significant transactions for some of New York City’s most prestigious developers and landlords including Extell Belnord, Highpoint Property Group, Charles Cohen, Redi Management, and Larry Gluck’s Stellar Management. In addition to this, he specialized in having corporate relocation accounts with Cartus, Citibank, Davis Polk law firm, Morgan Stanley & many more.

In 2017, Joe expanded his brand to South Florida and launched the Azar Team Miami. Since putting down roots in Miami, Joe and his valued associates have participated in leasing some of the region’s most exclusive, cutting-edge projects, including the Waterline Miami River by Mast Capital, blu7 in Edgewater by Richman Signature Properties, and X Miami in downtown Miami by Property Markets Group.

Always looking to inspire the next generation of rising stars, Joe created The Azar Team Florida, which includes four real estate advisors: Richard Fernandez, Morena Melendez, Santos Quinones, Jesse Lehman and an administrative assistant and marketing manager. As the leader, Joe serves as the Director of Luxury Sales for the team with an assist from his sister Renee Azar, who co-runs The Azar Team New York.

Licensed in both New York and Florida, Joe revels in the fast pace and exciting opportunities of both markets. In his free time, Joe actively supports many volunteer activities, from feeding the homeless, coaching Little League, captaining his softball team, and participating in the American Heart Association Heart Walk.
